What is Vientapps?
Vientapps is an independent travel research and tools site. We publish verified airline carry-on data for 75+ carriers, packing list generators for every trip type and country, head-to-head airline, cruise, and destination comparisons, and weekly-updated city guides. Every fact is cited to the airline, government, or operator's own published source.
Beyond travel, Vientapps also publishes a small portfolio of independent dev and maker projects (browser extensions, iOS utilities, web tools) and the build logs behind them.
Who runs it
Vientapps is run by Caden Sorenson, a senior staff engineer with 15+ years of experience and a Computer Science degree from Utah State University. Caden has been shipping software since 2014, which means every page and tool here gets the same rigor as production work at a larger company: verified data, thoughtful UX, proper SEO, and real accessibility. How we work
Travel data is sourced directly from airline, government, and operator policies, with the citation linked on every page. When sources disagree, we say so and link both. When data changes, we update the page and note the date. Beyond travel, every dev project gets a build log covering the decisions made, the mistakes made, and what we'd do differently.

- Keep costs near zero until revenue justifies spending
