Vientapps ("we," "us," or "our") operates vientapps.com and its subdomains. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

If you contact us via email or a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our sites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data including your IP address, browser type, and referring page in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not store your IP address ourselves.

First-Party Analytics

We run our own privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools people use and how to improve them. When you view a page, interact with a widget, click an outbound link, or run a search, we log an anonymous event containing:

  • The event type (page view, tool use, outbound click, search, embed load)
  • The page path (and search query, for search events)
  • The referring site, if any
  • The utm_source parameter, if your URL had one
  • Your country, derived from Cloudflare's CF-IPCountry header (your IP address itself is not stored)
  • Your device class (mobile, tablet, or desktop), derived from your user-agent string

We do not set cookies for analytics. We do not store IP addresses. We do not assign visitor IDs, fingerprints, or any cross-session identifier. There is no cross-site tracking. Events are stored in our own Cloudflare D1 database and never shared with third parties. We use sessionStorage (which is not a cookie) only to carry your utm_source across pages within a single session so we can attribute traffic correctly.

Anonymous server-side event counts of this kind are not considered personal data under GDPR Article 4 and do not require a consent banner.

Cookies and Advertising

We do not set any cookies ourselves. Some third-party services we use (notably Google AdSense) may set cookies for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process data:

  • Google AdSense for displaying advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
  • Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, and bot protection. Cloudflare processes request metadata as part of its service. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts for serving display typefaces. Google may log standard request metadata. See Google's Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate and maintain our websites and products
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide support
  • Analyze usage trends and improve our content
  • Display relevant advertisements

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed above, and only as necessary to operate our sites.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form.
