Travel Rule Changes
Most records on Travel Vient are re-checked on a rolling schedule against the official source: the airline, airport, provider or government page. Destination typical costs are the exception, checked against Budget Your Trip's traveler-reported averages. When a value changes, it lands here with the date we detected it and a link to the source we checked it against.
We keep two things separate. A rule change means the company or government itself changed a real-world policy, fee, or allowance. A record correction means we fixed our own data to match the source we checked, which is not a real-world change. Corrections are labeled as such and are not counted in the monthly rule-change totals.

GOL now charges USD 85 to USD 140 (R$ 425 to R$ 650) for a first checked bag on routes to and from the USA when you add it more than 48 hours before takeoff, up from USD 85 to USD 125.

GOL's domestic first bag, bought more than 48 hours before takeoff, now costs R$ 130 to R$ 250 (USD 30 to USD 70): the cheapest price fell and the highest rose. The second bag is now R$ 160 to R$ 280 (USD 40 to USD 85), and the first bag at the airport went from USD 60 to USD 70.

Bought between 48 and 6 hours before the flight it costs US$100, up from US$90.

Albuquerque (ABQ) bus to downtown: from ABQ Ride Route 250, $1, 20-35 min to ABQ Ride Route 50, free, time not published.
The Sunport says Route 250 is temporarily suspended and Route 50 now serves the airport, so we now list Route 50. ABQ Ride lists all its buses as free, and no official ride time is published. Uber and Lyft prices are not published by the airport, so we no longer show an estimate for them.

Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) roissybus: from $15-$17, 60-90 min to Service ended.
The Roissybus shuttle to Opéra stopped running on 1 March 2026, so we removed it. Taxi flat fares are now shown as €56 and €65 (about $66 to $76) with a 35 to 60 minute ride, RER B takes 25 to 40 minutes, and Uber and Bolt prices are not published by the airport, so we no longer show an estimate for them.

Finnair added a new cheapest tier, Economy Superlight, below Economy Light on short-haul Europe. Condor added 'Economy Zero' as a new cheapest, most restrictive fare below Economy Light. Mexico (nationwide) FMM tourist card: from Paper FMM tourist card issued on arrival to Digital FMM (FMMd) for air arrivals; no paper card.
Mexico's INM no longer issues the physical FMM tourist card to travelers arriving by air; entry is recorded digitally (FMMd) with a passport stamp and the officer sets the authorized stay, up to 180 days. Land arrivals still receive a paper FMM. Updated across the Cabo, Cancun, Mexico City, Oaxaca and Puerto Vallarta pages plus the Mexico packing list.

Holland America Line Dressy Nights per voyage length: from One on a 7-night cruise (called Gala Nights) to Two on 7-to-13-day voyages (called Dressy Nights).
Holland America now publishes a full Dressy Nights table by voyage length: under 4 days none, 4-6 days one, 7-13 days two, 14-20 days three, scaling further on longer voyages. A 7-night sailing now carries two dress-up evenings rather than one. The line also renamed Gala Nights to Dressy Nights and states black tie and tuxedos have never been required.
