Terminals & connections

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport has 2 terminals. Transfer system: People mover links T1 and T2 for connecting passengers + transfer security re-screen; transfer counters A-D. Landside T1<->T2 electric train ceased 1 July 2026; landside transfers use the Airport MRT or the free shuttle bus. Almost every connection here is international-to-international, so the operative floor is 90 minutes. Taiwan domestic flights mostly use Taipei Songshan (TSA), making the 30-minute domestic floor near-theoretical. All transfer passengers clear a security re-screen; arrive at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure. No same-airline exceptions filed; EVA and China Airlines both use the airport standard.

International. For transit passengers, a people mover links T1 and T2. The landside T1-T2 electric train (Skytrain) permanently ceased service on 1 July 2026 for Terminal 3 connection works; landside transfers use the Airport MRT (one stop) or the free shuttle bus.

2 airlines: China Airlines, EVA Air

International. Terminal 3 North Concourse (gates D11-D18) opened December 2025 and is reached via Terminal 2 check-in; the full Terminal 3 building is due around 2027. Landside T1-T2 electric train ceased 1 July 2026; use the Airport MRT or free shuttle bus landside.
