A soft-drink and mocktail option for guests who are not drinking alcohol, or who are under the drinking age.
What's included
The Premium Extra Package covers soft drinks, juices, specialty coffees, beers, cocktails and spritzes, premium spirits, and premium wines and Champagne by the glass, and it works in specialty restaurants and on MSC's private islands. The Alcohol-Free Package covers the non-alcoholic items only, and a Minors Package covers children and teens. MSC retired its cheaper Easy and Easy Plus packages for new bookings in December 2024.
Rules & pricing
Gratuities are already included in every MSC beverage package, though MSC does not publish the percentage. Every guest in a cabin must buy a package, with children on the Minors Package. Packages are sold per cruise rather than per day and cannot be refunded once activated on board. The Premium Extra Package is capped at 15 alcoholic drinks per guest per day fleetwide; drinks past the cap are charged at full price. MSC prices packages dynamically and only shows the figure once you log in to your MyMSC account, so no fixed daily price is published.
