Terminals & connections

Frankfurt Airport has 2 terminals. Transfer system: SkyLine train links Terminal 1 and the new Terminal 3 (free, every 2-3 min, 04:00-23:00; shuttle bus outside those hours); a gate-level security re-screen at the destination terminal is typically required. The T1<->T3 ride is longer than the former T1<->T2 hop, so allow extra buffer. Terminal 3 opened in 2026 and all former Terminal 2 airlines (Delta, American, British Airways, Air France, KLM, Iberia, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Korean Air, Japan Airlines) now operate there; Terminal 2 no longer handles scheduled passenger airlines. SkyLine connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 through a transit zone, but connecting passengers usually clear a security re-screen at the destination terminal. Passport control with EasyPASS applies on any Schengen-boundary crossing.

Terminal 1 (Concourses A, B, C, Z)
