Terminals & connections

Los Angeles International Airport has 9 terminals. Its terminals are airside-connected. Since the 2023 modernization, a domestic terminal change is a long walk; the published 70-minute domestic floor is conservative for that case. International-to-domestic is the hard case: CBP at TBIT deposits arrivals landside, so allow 2.5 to 3 hours. Terminal 5 is closed for construction (reopening 2028); jetBlue and Frontier moved to Terminal 1.
