Since Virgin's VoyageFair Choices model took effect in October 2025, gratuities are a separate daily line item: $20 per Sailor per night if prepaid, or $22 per Sailor per night if settled on board. The flat rate applies to every cabin, including RockStar suites. Once it is covered, Virgin adds no gratuity to bar drinks, the Bar Tab, spa, or specialty dining. Voyages booked before October 2025 had gratuities included in the fare with no separate charge.

Virgin previously advertised gratuities as fully included; that now applies only to legacy fares booked before October 2025. Under VoyageFair Choices the daily gratuity is unbundled and shown separately, and Virgin states the total voyage cost does not change. The prepaid $20 rate is locked in and non-refundable; the onboard $22 rate can be modified or removed at Sailor Services before disembarkation. No percentage service charge is added anywhere onboard.
