Oceania Alcohol Policy
What you can bring aboard, the corkage rules, drink packages, and the drinking age on an Oceania cruise in 2026, verified against the official policy.
Quick answer
Oceania lets you bring some of your own alcohol aboard at embarkation. It sells a drink package. The onboard drinking age is 21, though it can vary by sailing region.
Bringing your own alcohol
Allowed, with limits
Each stateroom may bring up to 6 bottles of wine or Champagne (750 ml), 1 bottle of spirits (1 liter), and up to 12 cans or bottles of beer, at embarkation or from ports of call. Anything over the limit is stored by ship security and returned on disembarkation day. Spirits and beer may be drunk only in your stateroom or suite.
Corkage fee
$25 per bottle
Your own wine and Champagne are free to drink in your stateroom. To drink them in a dining venue or public area, Oceania charges a $25 corkage fee per 750 ml bottle, and the sommelier can store an unfinished bottle for later in the voyage.

What's included and the rules
Prestige Select covers unlimited Champagne and wine by the glass, beers, spirits, and cocktails at any onboard venue, plus room service during bar hours. Wine by the bottle, premier spirits, and sake are excluded. Sodas, specialty coffees and teas, juices, and still and sparkling water are already free, so there is no soft drink package to buy.
Fares booked from September 17, 2025 also let you pick one Luxury of Choice amenity: wine and beer by the glass during lunch and dinner hours, or a shore excursion credit. Guests who picked wine and beer can upgrade to Prestige Select for 50% off. Guests 18 to 20 can buy a beverage package on every itinerary except Alaska and New England, and on Caribbean sailings only after the last US port.
Minimum drinking age
21
The minimum drinking age is 21. Guests 18 to 20 can buy beer or wine once the ship is in international waters, except on Alaska and New England sailings, where they may not drink at all; on Caribbean sailings that starts once the ship leaves US waters. Oceania's ticket contract adds that a parent must sign the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver at Reception, except on roundtrip European voyages.
Good to know
Sodas, specialty coffees and teas, juices, and still and sparkling water are free for every guest. Oceania may refuse boarding or use of any alcohol brought aboard, and local port laws can override the allowance.
