You may bring wine and champagne only, each bottle 750 ml or less. Limits apply, and Holland America may refuse quantities it deems excessive. Alcohol bought in the gift shop or in ports is surrendered for safekeeping and delivered to your stateroom shortly before disembarkation.

A $20 per bottle corkage fee applies to wine or champagne you bring aboard. Wine supplied by Holland America is exempt, as is one bottle per person bought on a Holland America winery shore excursion.

What's included and the rules
The Signature Beverage Package covers beer, spirits, cocktails, and wines by the glass priced at $12 or less, plus everything in the non-alcoholic Quench package: Coca-Cola drinks, premium coffee such as espresso and cappuccino, juices, mocktails, and still and sparkling bottled water. A 15-drink daily limit counts both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A step-up Elite Beverage Package at $60.95 per day raises the per-drink cap to $16.
Every adult of legal drinking age for the itinerary who is booked in the same stateroom must also buy the package. Prices are per person, per day, and subject to change. The Have It All package, listed at $65 per person per day, combines the Signature Beverage Package with shore excursions, specialty dining, and Wi-Fi.

Holland America's Cruise Contract sets 21 as the minimum age to buy, possess, or drink alcohol on board, and notes that the minimum age is lower on some sailings.

The Signature Beverage Package covers drinks priced up to $12 each with a daily limit of 15 beverages; the Elite package raises the cap to $16. All adults of legal drinking age in a stateroom must buy the same package. A 20% service charge applies to beverage purchases. Sodas and energy drinks may not be brought aboard. Water is allowed per stateroom within one of three allowances: 6 liters total, 12 cans or cartons of 500 ml or less, or 6 cans or cartons of one liter or less.
