Bringing your own alcohol
Allowed, with limits
At embarkation each guest of legal drinking age may present one bottle of wine or champagne, 750 ml or less, to security per voyage. Alcohol bought duty-free in the ship's shops or in port is surrendered and delivered to your stateroom just before you disembark.
Corkage fee
$20 per bottle
A $20 per bottle corkage fee applies if you drink your one allowed bottle in the ship's public areas, and on each additional bottle beyond the one-per-guest allowance. Wine or champagne bought from Princess carries no corkage fee.

The Plus Beverage Package is $64.99 per day, the Premier Beverage Package $84.99, and the Zero-Alcohol Package $29.99, each plus a 20% service charge (except on Australia itineraries).
What's included and the rules
The Plus Beverage Package covers cocktails, wine by the glass, beer, specialty coffees, fountain sodas, bottled water, fresh juices, healthy smoothies, and mocktails, on drinks priced up to $15 each. The Premier Beverage Package includes everything in Plus and raises the cap to $20 per drink, with top-shelf spirits and reserve wines. The separate Zero-Alcohol Package covers specialty coffees and teas, fountain sodas, hot chocolate, mocktails, and bottled water.
The Plus Beverage Package is $64.99 per person per day and the Zero-Alcohol Package is $29.99, before service charge. A 20% service charge applies to all itineraries except Australia. Packages must be purchased for the full length of the voyage, cannot be shared, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable within 3 days of sailing. They can be bought on board or in Manage Booking for booked guests.
Minimum drinking age
21
No guest under 21 may buy, possess, or drink alcohol on board. The Passage Contract notes that on some sailings the minimum age is lower.
Good to know
Bottled non-alcoholic drinks are prohibited, though each guest may bring up to 12 sealed cans or cartons of non-alcoholic drinks, 12 ounces each or less, on embarkation day. Luggage is scanned and prohibited items are removed.
