Regent does not limit how much personal baggage you bring aboard, but your airline does, so check its rules. As a guide, Regent cites the customary airline allowance of two checked pieces per person, each no more than 62 linear inches (158 cm) and 70 lb (31.75 kg). Through its partner Ship&Play, you can also ship luggage from your door to the ship and back.
Carry-on essentials
Regent collects your checked bags at the pier and delivers them to your stateroom over the first several hours aboard, sometimes not until dinnertime. Carry anything you need before then in the bag you keep with you.
Keep in your carry-on
- Passport, boarding pass, and payment cards
- Medication and anything medically necessary
- Swimsuit and a change of clothes for day one
- Phone, chargers, and valuables
Pack in checked bags
- Evening and formal-night outfits
- Toiletries over carry-on liquid sizes
- Shoes, layers, and bulkier clothing
- Everything tagged with your Regent Seven Seas Cruises luggage tags

Travel data researcher and publisher
Caden Sorenson runs Travel Vient, an independent travel research site built on a verified database of airline baggage rules, airport connection times, cruise line policies, and eSIM plans. He built the verification pipeline behind it: each record is read from the company or government page that publishes it (connection times: OAG data via ExpertFlyer), stored with that source link and the sentence it came from, and re-checked on a schedule. He is a senior staff engineer with 15+ years building software, a Computer Science graduate of Utah State University, and based in Logan, Utah.
Figures link to the source they were read from and show the date last checked; some cite a travel publication or aggregator rather than the company.
